A manual is a basic skateboard trick which isn’t hard to learn. It’s kind of a wheelie on a skateboard. A stationary manual is a manual without moving. Hlynur Gunnarsson from Iceland did the longest stationary skateboard manual, which is 7min and 59.13 sec. Until today. Matthias Lindner pushed the envelope further and did a stationary manual for over 10min. Guinnes World Records is now checking, if his record is valid. Check out the video, where you can see Matthias Lindner in action.

If you want to try a stationary manual yourself, try practicing on a carpet floor. This prohibits from moving your skateboard to fast and you get a better grasp of balancing. The rear foot goes on the tail and the other foot halfway between the trucks. Now push your rear foot down and start balancing on two wheels as long as you can.
When you get the feeling and feel secure enough, you can start doing moving manuals. They look quite more spectacular and are a lot of fun.
Give it a go.
